Innovating Education: Teknokrat University’s Academic Expo Tackles Extremism

Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia became the center of attention this week for successfully holding an innovative Academic Exhibition, coupled with impactful programs on the Prevention and Countermeasures of Extremism, Terrorism and Socialization of Radicalism. The event which was attended by the National Unity and Politics Agency of Lampung Province accompanied by the Vice Rector 4 of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia marked an important milestone in the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence while tackling urgent global challenges. The Academic Expo, which was held at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia’s Student Center, attracted participants from various students from all faculties. students get together to explore the boundaries of knowledge and engage in thought-provoking discussions. With its various activities, this exhibition showcases the university’s dedication to fostering innovation, collaboration and intellectual growth. The highlight of the event was the Dissemination of Programs for the Prevention and Control of Extremism, Terrorism and Radicalism which received wide attention. Participants were enlightened by experts who shared insights, strategies and best practices in combating critical issues plaguing societies around the world. The program emphasizes the importance of early detection, understanding root causes and fostering an inclusive community that rejects extremism. As the event came to a close, attendees left inspired and motivated to take action against extremism, terrorism, and radicalism. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia once again demonstrated its commitment to shaping the next generation of leaders who will contribute to a safer and more peaceful world.

Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia raih penghargaan. Perguruan tinggi swasta yang masuk pemeringkatan kampus hijau – UI Greenmetric World University Ranking 2021 di Lampung. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia berada di  Peringkat 2 PTS Terbaik Sumatera, dan peringkat 45 Kampus Terbaik Indonesia. Sertifikat penghargaan ditandatangani oleh Rektor Universitas Indonesia Prof. Ari Kuncoro, MA., Ph.D. dan Kepala  UI Greenmetric dunia Prof. Riri Fitri Sari, M.Sc., MM. Teknokrat juga mendapat apresiasi dari Forum Rektor Indonesia saat berkunjung ke kampus setempat pada Kamis (23/12). Forum yang beranggotakan rektor dari berbagai universitas baik negeri maupun swasta yang ternama itu bersilaturahmi dan melakukan penanaman pohon sebagai bentuk persaudaraan sekaligus kecintaan pada lingkungan. Penghijauan tersebut juga menjadi kelanjutan dari pencapaian Teknokrat sebagai satu-satunya perguruan tinggi swasta yang masuk pemeringkatan kampus hijau – UI Greenmetric World University Ranking 2021. Ketua Forum Rektor Indonesia M. Prof. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU, ASEAN Eng. memuji suasana Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia yang indah, asri dan sejuk. “Berada di tengah kota, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia menghadirkan keasrian yang patut menjadi percontohan bagi kampus-kampus lainnya yang juga berada di perkotaan,” kata Panut yang juga rektor Universitas Gadjah Mada itu. Menurut Panut, Teknokrat ideal menjadi model yang telah memenuhi aspek kampus hijau yang telah menunjukkan kinerja dan upaya dalam mendukung pembangunan keberlanjutan dan ramah lingkungan. “Jika suasananya indah, asri, dan sejuk begini maka sivitas akademika pasti betah berlama-lama di sini untuk belajar,” ujarnya. Sebagai bentuk kecintaan pada Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Forum Rektor Indonesia turut menanam pohon di Kampus Sang Juara. “Penanaman pohon ini akan menjadi kenangan manis bagi kita. Bayangkan, rektor dari Unversitas Negeri Gorontalo menanam pohon di Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia – Lampung. Kita akan mengingat kebersamaan yang indah ini,” ujarnya. Penanaman pohon ini salah satu untuk mendukung kampus hijau Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia dilakukan juga oleh Rektor Universitas Negeri Gadjah Mada, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Islam Malang, dan Rektor Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Pada kesempatan itu juga dilakukan penandatanganan MoU Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia  dengan lima kampus ternama di Indonesia. MoU ditandatangani oleh Rektor Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf, SE, MBA. ; Universitas Negeri Gadjah Mada  M. Bahkan, para rektor juga menyempatkan diri bermain basket di Gelanggang Mahasiswa Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf, SE.,  MBA. Rektor Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, M.T. memberikan teknik dalam memasukkan bola basket ke keranjang basket dengan penuh semangat kepada Rektor yang lainnya di kampus setempat.(*)

Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan dan pemanasan global, Forum Rektor Indonesia berkomitmen untuk mendukung program Penghijauan Penanaman 1000 bibit pohon Kampus Hijau Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (23/12/2021). Eng. turut hadir dan melaksanakan secara simbolis penanaman bibit pohon di halaman terbuka Masjid Asmaul Yusuf Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. Penanaman Bibit Pohon yang merupakan bagian dari Program Penghijauan lingkungan ini dilakukan langsung secara simbolis oleh Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum. bersama Rektor Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf, SE., MBA. di Kawasan Hijau Taman Masjid Asmaul Yusuf Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. UI Greenmetric 2021: Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia The Best Private Universities in Sumatera

Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia undoubtedly performed very well in its first participation on UI-Greenmetric World University Ranking in 2021. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia so-called UTI, has been ranked 45th as the best Indonesian University and the 2nd best Private Universities in Sumatera. This ranking is calculated based on the total performance score of six aspects including setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, transportation, education and research. UI-Greenmetric World University Rank is a world university rank focusing on universities’ performance on achieving sustainable development goals. While the whole number of universities participated in this rank is 957, UTI has successfully claimed the 477th position as the best university in the world based on this ranking system. Universitas Teknokrat Inodnesia Built a New Green Spaces and Adequate Parking Area

Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, the best private university in Sumbagsel, has a new, spacious and adequate parking lot. The existence of the new land is located behind buildings C and D Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. There are several advantages of this new UTI parking lot when compared to other parking lots. First, apart from being spacious, its location under dense trees makes this area so cool even in the sun. Second, the area is large. Making this parking lot able to accommodate a large number of motorcycles and cars. And third, is the path to the parking lot that can be used for ‘jogging’ or sports in the early morning with a shady natural atmosphere. The total parking area owned by the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia reaches 3276.95 m2. There are 3 parking areas located in Building Area A, ICT Building Area and Public Works Area (marked in red line). For the parking area of Building A, it reaches 1049.95 m2. Parking area in the ICT building with details of 1,402 m2, and Public Works Parking with an area of 825 m2. With a total campus area of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia reaches 16380 m2, it has 3 main buildings, namely Building A and Building B and the Rectorate Building. Details of Building A’s own area is 1981 m2 for the total land area with a building area of 2371 m2 and Building B with an area of 345 m2.
