Empowering Vocational Education Through Solar Tracker Technology Training
Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia continues to demonstrate its commitment to community service through innovative technology training. This time, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science conducted a solar tracker training session at SMKN 1 Katibung, South Lampung. The program aimed to introduce the concept of automated solar panel systems to students and teachers, highlighting the importance of renewable energy in today’s world.
The training covered both theory and hands-on practice, allowing participants to directly engage in assembling and operating the solar tracker system. From programming to installation, students showed great enthusiasm throughout the sessions. With an educational and interactive approach, the training is expected to empower vocational students to apply this knowledge in school projects and real-life situations.
Through this initiative, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia hopes to inspire a tech-savvy generation that is environmentally conscious. This collaboration is a clear example of how synergy between universities and vocational schools can create lasting positive impacts on vocational education development, particularly in South Lampung
